RoadReady Tags ("RoadReady Tags," "we," "us," or "our") provides temporary vehicle tag issuance and vehicle history report services. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or place an order, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you submit an order for a temporary tag or a vehicle history report, we collect:

• Contact details — full name, phone number, email address
• Vehicle identification number (VIN) and, for temporary tag orders, vehicle color
• Mailing address, for temporary tag orders shipped by mail
• A photo of your driver's license and a photo of your proof of insurance, for temporary tag orders — required to verify your identity and issue a legally valid tag
• Payment information, for temporary tag and report orders paid online — processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe; RoadReady Tags never receives or stores your full card number

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. Our services are intended for licensed drivers placing their own orders.

How we use your information

• To verify your identity and eligibility, and to issue your temporary tag or generate your vehicle history report
• To process payment and send you order confirmations and status updates by phone, email, or text
• To comply with state DMV recordkeeping requirements for temporary tag issuance
• To respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems with your order

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with marketers. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate:

• Stripe — processes payment for orders placed online. See Stripe's own privacy policy.
• Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Gmail) — used internally to record orders, store license/insurance uploads securely, and notify our team of a new order.
• Vercel — hosts this website and briefly holds uploaded license/insurance photos in temporary storage while a payment is being completed; that temporary copy is deleted once your order is confirmed or abandoned.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to a state DMV as part of the tag-issuance process itself.

How we protect it

Your information is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Uploaded ID and insurance photos are only accessible to the small team verifying your order and are never posted publicly. Access to our order records is limited to RoadReady Tags staff who need it to fulfill your order.

How long we keep it

We retain order records, including uploaded documents, for as long as needed to complete your order and to satisfy applicable state DMV recordkeeping requirements, and then delete or securely archive them. You can request earlier deletion of your documents once an order is complete by contacting us using the information below.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use standard, privacy-respecting web analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall site traffic; if enabled, this uses cookies or similar technology and is covered by the analytics provider's own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it once your order is complete, by calling or texting (470) 412-1952.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
